Refund Policy

Effective April 21, 2026

Your business goes live in 48 hours — or you don't pay. This page explains exactly how that works, when you get a refund, and when you don't.

1. The 48-hour guarantee

For Launchpad and Growth builds, we commit to delivering a live preview URL within 48 hours of receiving a complete intake and payment (full or 50% deposit).

The clock starts when all of the following are true:

  • Your intake form is submitted with the required fields complete.
  • Your payment has cleared in Stripe (full or deposit).
  • You've provided any required content that we asked for (logo, photos, copy, or approval to use AI-generated alternatives).

The clock pauses whenever we're waiting on you (missing information, unanswered clarification question, or approval of AI-drafted copy). The clock resumes as soon as you reply.

If we miss the 48-hour window through our own fault, you get:

  • A 100% refund of every dollar you paid for the build, and
  • The completed site (if any) delivered to you at no charge, yours to keep.

2. Pro and Enterprise builds

The 48-hour guarantee does not apply to Pro or Enterprise builds, because those projects include integrations (CRM, booking, custom domain, multi-location) that depend on third-party accounts we don't control. Pro builds have a 72-hour preview target, and Enterprise is scoped per engagement in your Statement of Work.

3. Refundable windows

4. Add-ons

Add-ons (Rush Delivery, Extra Page, Copywriting Boost, Logo Design, Advanced SEO) follow the same stage rules as the build they attach to, with one carve-out: Logo Design becomes non-refundable once concepts are delivered, because custom design work has been produced.

5. Subscriptions

Site Shield, Growth Engine, and AI Business Suite bill monthly or annually. You can cancel any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Subscription fees are not prorated.

Annual plans are eligible for a pro-rated refund only if we materially fail to deliver the included services (e.g., a month with zero blog posts under Growth Engine). Email us with what you're seeing and we'll make it right.

6. Chargebacks

Please email us before filing a chargeback. Most issues are resolved within one business day. Chargebacks opened without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is under review by Stripe.

7. How to request a refund

  1. Email hello@expeditemysite.com with the subject “Refund Request” from the email associated with the purchase.
  2. Include your order ID (starts with ord_) or Stripe session id (cs_…).
  3. Describe why — a sentence is enough.
  4. We'll respond within one business day. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe the same day and typically return to your card in 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.

8. Taxes and Stripe fees

Where refunds are issued, Stripe returns the full charge amount, including any sales tax. Stripe's transaction fee is not returned to us on refunds; where an order is fully refunded before intake, we pass this ~2.9% + $0.30 fee on only if the refund is for a non-guarantee reason and you decline the alternative of an account credit. For all guarantee-based refunds and refunds < 4 h after purchase, the fee is on us.

9. Goodwill clause

The tiers above are defaults. If something about your situation doesn't fit cleanly into one of the boxes, email us and explain. We'd rather give you a refund and keep a good relationship than argue over the edge of a policy.
